How to start Blogging - Picking up your topic

And since you are here, I believe you have those first 3 covered :)

So, what do you know really well? What are your interests, hobbies, where your life is now? I my self am now in risk of loosing my day job, so decided to build up some alternative ways to build income for me, so writing about how to build income from Internet. As i have said here before I have been hooked up to Internet since early 90's so have had time to learn a lot and have seen major changes during this time.

Well, back to picking up Your topic or niche as people tend to say among bloggers... Maby you like tuning up your car; decorating your house; you are making hikes in the wilderness; have good knowledge of some sport; you love to grow orchideas... Main goal is that you know and like about what you are writing about. That will make sure you will have some good content on your Blog.

And content is what brings visitors, and everything in making money in Internet is to be seen as much as possible.

After you know what area of our world you are going to write about, squeeze that in to 3-6 words. Those are going to be your keywords :) As help in picking up keywords you can use Google to test what kinda results and amount of results you get with those words. As i myself have picked up words make, money, Internet, blogging, website, surfing. Testing out different combinations of those words in Google search box vast amount of results, and also lots of paid Google Ads on the top & side of results. And from the ads we can come to conclusion that some money is used in advertising on that topic. And that's what we want to have, advertisers to pay money to us.

So take some time to choose what is your niche and see what Google thinks about that :)

How to make money with website?

Google, the king of Internet companies... is willing to give you share of their profit!
Yes, it is true, you can get paid by Google. Google makes most of its revenue from ad sales. Allow companies and website owners to advertise on their search result pages. Program that is used for his purpose is called AdWords.

So, whats that in to You?

Let me explain. Google also has this program called AdSense. And that's the one You want to use :) AdSense places these same ads that are shown on search result pages to your site, and you get paid for the traffic you drive to advertisers site!

Why Google would give money away?

And Google is not stupid in paying you money for hosting ads, just the opposite. They are really smart, since they charge advertisers for every click Internet users generate to ads and visit advertisers websites. And the more ads are exposed, the more Google charges advertisers. And if ads are show on Your page, you get paid for Your visitors clicking ads.

How much can I make with AdSense?

Google don't reveal how much they are paying per individual click to ads. Heard and seen Google to pay from 2 cents to few dollars per click. The more popular search phrases the higher is the price to get advertisers ad to be shown.

Even Google don't reveal individual click values, you can log in to your AdSense account at any time and see your stats per day, week, year and so on. So you eventually get an estimate of average click value on your site.

So if we say you got 14 clicks to your ads today and got paid 9.20$ then average value of click has been 0.657$. And since you get paid for clicks to ads, total income depends highly on the amount of traffic your site has. And since click through rate for normal website is around 0.7 to 1.5% so for 14 clicks you would need 1000 to 2000 page views.

So, that's why you need content, content and more content! You want people to visit site and have plenty of content and pages for them to view.

And that brings us to a fact that you have to do your own site or blog around a topic that you know a lot of, and on topic that you like. Like, because it is way more fun to do something fun, than feel: "Geez, I need to update that stupid page/blog again :/"

How to make income on internet?

That must be one of the popular questions at the moment. Big companies are laying off thousands of people every week. When writing this article i made about 15$ with Google AdSense and about 50 dollars with NeoBux in January. That isn't really too much, i know, but compared the time i have used to those 2 things, payout is really nice :)

So making money online isn't that hard, since n00b like myself can do it :)
